Network development

Every two years, the transmission system operators jointly prepare a ten-year network development plan with the close involvement of all relevant market participants, which is submitted to the Federal Network Agency on 1 April. At European level, ENTSOG prepares the Community-wide network development plan every two years, in addition to which regional investments are planned (GRIP).

Damage to underground pipeline systems caused by third parties is the most frequent cause of pipeline damage. Anyone planning or carrying out construction measures must be informed about the location of the supply lines.

Therefore, as a builder or commissioned company, make your enquiry free of charge on the platform of the nationwide information system for pipeline searches BIL.

Gastransport Nord GmbH is a member of BIL along with many other network operators.
