Uniform postage stamp tariffs determined for the new Trading Hub Europe (THE) market area for the period from 1 January 2022

From 1 October 2021, there will be the new joint Trading Hub Europe (THE) market area with a uniform tariff, which has been determined in accordance with the tariff setting process known as REGENT 2021 established by the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA).

On 27 May 2021, Gastransport Nord GmbH published its network tariffs applicable from 1 January 2022. The annual tariff for fixed, freely allocable entry and exit capacity will be 3.51/(kWh/h)/a, effective from 1 January 2022.

Compared to the 4th quarter of the year 2021, in which the uniform tariff is applied for the first time in the THE market area, there will be an approximately 7.6 percent lower tariff for booking of firm, freely allocable entry and exit capacities in the new THE market area in 2022.
